First game of the new Ranked Season and...

FREEZE OFF!! I’m up 5-0 in the third. I have two smoked doubles and 3 HR. My opponent had 1 legit single in the 1st or 2nd and then he hit a weak single through the right side with 2 outs in the 3rd and we’ve been frozen for over 90 mins.
I start the season at 700. If I get outplayed and lose and have to start 0-1 and potentially get into that ALL-Star/HOF back and forth nonsense then that’s on me. I’m smoking this guy. The fact that people will do this to try and get a win is ridiculous.
The game is frozen, just because you could potentially come back and win doesn’t mean you are obligated to wait out your opponent who is outplaying you to steal the win from them. You can’t come back when the game is frozen and done. We live in a society, act accordingly.
I’ve been sitting here working the market on the app, I cooked food and ate. Messaged the guy politely a few times and then kept reminding him of the score since he won’t respond.
How do I look up someone’s game history here since I can’t do it on the frozen console? Want to see if there’s any pattern of his games ending like this.

People want the easy wins, he knows he can’t beat you unless you quit the freeze. It sucks so much

It sucks man. It’s more of just fighting the game rather than your opponent like all of the RNG. I’ve only had one so far this year, was down 3-0 in early innings but knew I had a good shot of winning based on how he was getting rewarded. I still quit though. I just see it like the game getting called early.
Would suck 10x more if I was winning and someone else wouldn’t quit like in your scenario.

It's happened to me many times when I was winning. So now when its vice versa..I'll take the easy win...cause unlike my opponent...I dont NEED to play the game that bad lol. I'll just leave my system on all night while he is shaking to play.

Yet here you are writing a novel and spending all of this time to prove a point….you could’ve had 3-4 wins in ranked already. I’ll honestly never understand some people.

Ranked season is SDS most promoted property and its most uncredible. Its records and achievement are for the most part undeserved.

I mean maybe if you had a little reading comprehension you’d get it. There is ZERO reason someone in my position should take a loss there. Also, that opponents last 4 ranked games didn’t make it out of the 5th inning and they were all fairly close. Kinda weird.
Update: I went to bed and left the game on. Got disconnected and took the L(even though I’m hardwired). Good stuff. Guess I’m 0-1 to start the year and have to do the All-Star/HOF shuffle. Thanks D-Bag!!
