Correct sac bunt technique?
-
OK gentlemen, so in my last game, I had runners at first and third and the pitcher at the plate with less than two out.
My pitcher squares, puts one down, reaches first safely, only to find his teammate still there.
With base running on assist (only other choice seems to be “auto”), do I need to “advance all runners” in this situation?
I mean it’s a force at first. Why would the runner not go to second?

Definitely put the steal on anytime you want to sac bunt. The AI makes some screwy decisions otherwise

this, I always put runners in motion when going for the sac bunt, it can be risky, but for the most part it works

I haven’t had this. What I find annoying is when I hit a ball to the wall and the runner that was on second is still standing there even though I’ve been holding down L1, and then I have two guys on second.
