Which one of these SP would you want on your squad?
-
Ryan all day

Easily Ryan.
-
Gave up 5 runs in 2 innings with Darvish on HoF so I might have to try Ryan or Feller too
-
Looks like Ryan is the pick. I'll be broke but I should have a solid starter. Thanks, everyone!

If you’re broke I wouldn’t buy him. Do you already have Burnes, Alcantra, Ashby, and Sale? Much cheaper quality options. Invest the difference in the roster update.

@wingspan1985_psn said in Which one of these SP would you want on your squad?: 99 Ryan
 97 Feller
97 DarvishIf I go with Ryan all my stubs are gone. I'm not a big fan of Feller's windup. Darvish interests me, decent pitch mix (though I wish he had a 12/6 curve) and decent speed variations. And I assume you mean for Ranked? Like @Bob_Loblaw1984 much cheaper/free options for a spot that will only play once every three games.

The way Darvish shut down my Mets the other night, him

I could by sherzer now but wanna wait a little more to gain stubs

Ryan is unfair

Don’t ever listen to Bob Loblaw or Digital Shawnchez. I have Ryan and Feller and they are both bad azz. Spend your stubs how you want to.

Thanks, everyone for the advice, I really do appreciate it. I ended up buying Nolan for 192k. I have 29k left so I'm not completely broke but I don't plan to upgrade the team for a while now. I did have some luck online with the 88 Ryan so hopefully, that continues. I just hope SDS doesn't do something nuts tomorrow like make it "Chase Pack Monday" and give us all free chase packs and tanking Ryan's value.

Definitely Nolan Ryan for me. I bought Feller when he first dropped and I didn't really love him. At least not at the price he was going at.
-
Don't worry about the stubs, you'll make it back. Just start selling selling anything you don't need want, spam Mini Seasons a lot, you'll build back your capital quickly. Then start flipping. Nolan is one of the best cards in the game. Probably top 2 pitchers with Randy and I think he'll stay that way most of the year.

Anybody but Darvish… I got lit up with him both times I used him and then sold him.

My debut with Ryan went pretty well. 7 innings, 21 strikeouts. My opponent quit after the bottom of the 7th. I did give up 1 run on 2 hits, my opponent wasn't touching Ryan but I must have hung a couple of pitches as he hit back-to-back doubles. After that, they went back to swinging and missing. We were both in the 500s, so it isn't that impressive. It was only a 2-1 game when they quit, I was hoping they'd stick around as I wanted 27 strikeouts.
