Yeah they were all more deserving than a lot of the Awards cards, but they were all withheld for a good reason. Just have patience, they will all get better AS cards soon.
The only obvious snub that I'd worry about getting an AS card is Edwin Diaz. He easily should have been the reliever choice over Daniel Hudson.

Yeah and I have a feeling the All-Star cards might be 98s considering Alvarez is a 97. They’re probably going to want to out-do cards that have been out for 2 weeks.

My gripe is in the Topps Now, Mark Appel had such an awesome moment and made his major league debut after going through a lot and they give us an Aaron Hicks instead… The other three I’m fine with, but we don’t need a diamond Hicks.

But he's a Yankee. If they had not released the new Nolan Gorman card I would have been upset if they overlooked him for hicks as well.
But if you watch the last stream, even they were joking (???) about them always adding more Yankee cards. I mean really, the Hicks card was for a game tying HR? Did nobody else have a walk off or big game that week? Seems like a stretch

Unless one of them is truly unlucky and gets hurt between now and then and can't play in the all-star game.

We don't need any more Yankees. At least not active players having a bad year but a good moment. Obviously when it comes to legends we'll get a boat load and they are the best team with lots of great performances this season. But this is a perfect area they can give us players feom different teams and instead we get an Aaron Hicks card, someone who is hitting .221 with 3 HRs. That's pure New York bias.

He hit a game tying 3 run bomb….in the 9th….in game 1 of a series featuring arguably the two best teams in the MLB. What’s the gripe here???
I can understand the issue with the number of Yankee cards released but there’s nothing wrong with this being a 91 overall Topps Now card that will be irrelevant in 4 days

Cease and McClanahan are the only 2 of those 4 that are guaranteed an allstar card though. It will only be 1 per team plus 6 or so standout performances in the game. It's very possible the Marlins program AS card is Jazz and they will have 5-6 options for Toronto

My issues were not with releasing Yankees, I could care less with Topps now cards usually… I was basically saying that the Mark Appel moment was really cool and should’ve been recognized with a card, where I understand Aaron Hicks got a big hit, but he’s been really bad this year, so I would’ve went the other way.

If Hicks got it for his game-tying 3-run HR I don't see the problem.
