Some needed improvements - will anyone from SDS respond?
-
Some thoughts/observations/suggestions:
-
Latest live roster update has once again “zeroed-out” player stats. This of course defeats the purpose of the live roster exhibition mode and exacerbates repetitive broadcast commentary;
-
Still no ability to use Ohtani in live roster exhibition.
-
Crowd noises are underwhelming in general and unresponsive to in-game situations;
-
Home team dugouts are on the 1st base side instead of the 3rd base side;
-
Instant replays often fail to show the development of the play being shown. Example - a HR replay shows three closeup shots of the batter, but does not show the hit ball. I personally would enjoy more frequent in-game replays. Perhaps the ability to have a frequency setting would be useful for all, as some players will not want additional replays;
-
Bring back an updated version of sounds of the show.
-
Stitching together studio recording and live game broadcast commentary can be better utilized by capturing additional live game broadcast commentary throughout the year and including in game updates. Generally speaking, there needs to be some tweaking to the Color commentary as there are moments where there is broadcaster where as a longtime baseball fan I would expect to hear something from the broadcast team.
-
Include in-game ticker in live roster exhibition mode to show updates from real MLB games in progress.
-
Many pre-pitch camera angles seem unnatural. More time spent on replicating broadcast camera angles would make this feature more effective. Otherwise why have it?
-
Is there appetite in the community for a seventh inning stretch “show” similar to the halftime show in NBA2K? Improved postgame highlight package?
Will anyone from SDS acknowledge/ respond to this message?

There are quite a few home dugouts on the 1st base side in MLB. I don't really watch replays or extra cut-scenes, I'm not trying to take 4 hours to play 1 game. Most of the rest of the stuff I don't have much more to say except you unfortunately will be disappointed if you are expecting any major changes to exhibition mode.
-
Fair enough on the dugouts. Would be good to have these double-checked for accuracy.
I know some people do not want extra replays and/or cutscenes. Agree that you should be able to turn them all off if that is your preference.

No disrespect ur issues are a lot of just nit picking that don’t really effect game how about sds fixing in ranked and co op game freezing or in co op the new 6 inning for faster game play it’s mlb it’s 9 innings not 6 or in co op you can pick whole team but they pick 2 for you you can only pick 2 rp well it’s 6 innings now so we don’t need rp I guess how about fixing the pitcher does 360’ degree behind back catches or pitcher is faster then a 99 speed runner how about they fix when ball is hit short to right field and a play can be made the first baseman stands 5 feet from bag these are areas that effect game play

I agree with your suggestions. My comments are based more on improving aspects of the experience/ feeling of the game that I think should be nailed in next-gen, as opposed to specific gameplay issues (which are also indeed numerous).
