Problems with Shohei Ohtani?

So I recently traded for Ohtani and have him as my rotation ace and also batting 3rd as my RF in every lineup... But for some reason every game I play he's batting 9th and DH..
Is this a bug? Known issue?

He's your cover athlete and the marketing brags about getting to play him as a 2 way player, but it doesn't seem to work?

Well if he’s pitching he can’t be the right fielder at the same time. Unless you have him set to be in right field when he’s not pitching? Lineup management is confusing. I played March to October mode as the Royals and I tried to set Zack Greinke as my DH When he was not pitching (I was in the postseason). Then all of a sudden two of my other starting pitchers have to/ are the DH. It’s kind of funny.

i played the MTO as the Angels and had Ohtani as the DH, when he pitches, the game puts another startling pitcher as the DH instead of a player off the bench. AND if you take Ohtani out as pitcher and replace him it never gives you the option to let him stay in the game and be the DH

Because the Ohtani rule was not passed until after the game was already coming out it's not in this year's game. If you have Ohtani as your Starting pitcher he will automatically be your DH in MTO. Whoever is your assigned DH will only be the DH when Ohtani is pitching. This has been addressed several times.
