Why would you play this event?

Played 3 games. Faced Bobby Miller 3 times. Total team record 77-11. Why is this fun?
Can't play rookie level for the rest of your life. Sometimes you just got to challenge yourself. Even when SDS kicks you right in the [censored] for no reason.

I usually max out events. I just did not have fun with this one at all. I got the two new future stars and then bowed out. I already finished the BR program, and got everything that was worth while in the featured program, so I think I'm just going to take a break until the new program starts.
What's your game plan when you play? Do you do the Moments and Conquest Maps or are you strictly online?
I hit the last FS pack about a week/10 days ago and haven't touched RS, any Event, or the BR Program this 'month'. It's mainly been Moments, Player Programs, and two of the three Conquest Maps.
I didn't even complete any of the 'Collections'. I did do all the Exchanges.
I'm as far as I can get right now as I haven't played in about 7-10 days and won't be able to play until at least the 15th of July (which means I may miss most of the next program).
Depending on how long this next program lasts; I need to figure out a game plan to get as much done as possible when I can finally play again.

I’ve faced Bobby Miller every single game. (30 plus games) It is a little ridiculous and tedious. I think I’m the only one who hasn’t used him.
-
Haven’t played this event. Events in general just haven’t been appealing to me this year.
-
I think the events haven’t been great. I liked the one on Hall of fame and the 6 inning one though
-
I haven't played all but I've played most and this one has easily been the worst of them for me. The feedback/user input has just been awful. Get hits on terrible pci placement and lots of outs on good placement. The floating change/slider has been extra rough for me too this event. I'm bailing If I can get the two players from the event.
-
I play the event to see how many Very Late swing timing hits my opponents can get, while I get good and perfect swing timing hits robbed by superman at every position on the field.

I'm probably about 80% online. I play the new conquest maps for packs, showdowns, and moments to finish programs, but my preferred modes are events and BR. I also do all the collections but no exchanges. I used to play more ranked in the past, but not this year. I think I'm currently 17-3 in ranked, but all three losses were from game crashes on the lineup loading screen. That kind of soured the appeal of ranked for me, so now I've only played a few per season. I'd also rather stick to shorter games in case I get matched up with a clown. It's easier to deal with nonsense for 15 minutes than it is for 45-60. It also doesn't help that innings played don't always track properly in ranked.

I play bc I like events and it's usually pretty decent in terms of stubs. Got the rare round in one of the two intense packs. I got Brett by selling all the event rewards I had earned up to that point. I always make it a point to get 30 wins (not so concerned about missing out on the 5 pack bundles)
-
I liked events last year because the cards were rare and you could sell them for a ton of stubs. This year there’s just too many rewind packs that it kind of not worth it. Right now I am playing but once the free BR program starts and stubs become no object I won’t be playing much of the events

I lost an event game on a very early swing no doubt homer. Didn't know a very early swing could even stay fair! Was facing a lefty using a lefty and he rolled over that slider down and away all the way over the fence. Good times.

You are getting practice against Miller, look at it that way.
Yep against a good opponent. I enjoy those matchups.
-
I'll tell you one reason why I did like the event... Every now and then someone would put Reid Detmers out there on the bump. I don't know if it's release or his stuff just isn't that good. But I light that guy up every time I face him. But then yes, next 15 games are Miller. He get's easier to read too once you've seen him that much. Kinda like the Corbin Burnes and Edward Cabrera cards last year.

People using Miller often cant resist up and in outlier FB. I've mashed dozens of HR off them just waiting on this one single pitch. Then they quit because, Waaaaa he hit my outlier.
