Created Stadium in March to October

Is it just me or are you not allowed to assign a created stadium to your team in March to October? I have a couple DD eligible created stadiums but every time I play at home they bring some other stadium that isn't one I created.

When you are choosing the team you want to START playing a NEW "MTO" in a new save file. Go to customize Team option before accepting that team & going on to next screen. Doing this will open a screen where you set the Team Name, City, Colors, Logo, etc. It also lets you choose which stadium you want to be your home park.

Ya I did all this and it still just picks some random stadium I've never seen before. Absolute trash this game is
