Pitches out of the zone
-
Got beat last night by a dude who hit 2 monsters with Devers on intentional pitches way out of the zone to actually be almost an intentional ball and he mashed them both on 2 strike counts. Like both 101 mph fastballs where like visor height, smashed!

Throwing out of the zone is TOXIC. Especially the 59 foot dirt pitches.

I’m hitting and giving up more homeruns and hard hit balls on pitches out of the zone. Not even by a small number. Something has to be done about this. Yes I understand you can hit balls out of the zone in real life, but this isn’t real life it’s a game. I can dead center hit or pitch a ball and it go no where or be a pop up. When I look for pitches out of the zone because they’re hit harder and have a very high exit velo it’s broken.
It’s the same as completely missing the target in a br but being rewarded with a highest damage hit. If I throw the ball in the zone with 2 strikes it’s a foul ball, but get your opponent to chase out of the zone with good contact and it’s destroyedGave up like 3 HRs on cutters off the plate. They weren't terribly far so its not unreasonable they would get turned on.
My issue is these pitches getting crushed but my good timing, center PCI balls with minimal PCI movement having 40 degree launch angles resulting in some can o corn. There needs to be a bit more consistency with user input and results.
Also the ability to hit hard singles/line drives on curves/etc about to bounce in the dirt but hitting choppers on balls in the zone (again good PCI) is mind boggling. Not expecting every ball to be hard hit but should definitely not be hitting choppers at the rate I'm seeing them.

HOF is much better with this though. AS is bad with this.

That's been a thing since mlb 17 unfortunately

No. It's baseball. It's what's known as a BALL. Don't swing. Take your walks. Eventually they will have to come in the zone if they don't want to walk in runs. It's not "toxic". It's the way baseball works. Swing at strikes. Don't swing at balls. Simple.
