Questions about base coaches

I posted here about the same issue. I can live with it if it can't be resolved but I think it's a glitch within the game and it kinda bothers me lol. So my created player that I started a franchise with had a 99 speed but it dropped to 96. I got advice here that it had to do with the base coaches affecting the speed. My 3rd base coach had a -2 speed trait so I replaced him with a coach with a +2 speed. I even changed my 1st base coach, who had nothing to do with speed, with a coach with +2 speed as well. My player is still a 96 speed. Even though I'm leading the league in triples, tied for third in SB, and third in doubles. Anyone else experienced this in The Show 21 ps4???

One of your other coaches must have a negative speed attribute. Even if you don’t see it when you look at your coaches it is probably still there. It doesn’t matter which coach on your staff it is.

The only way to tell is when you are hiring coaches for whatever coaching position in the off-season, find them while searching for other coaches for other positions to see their attribute contribution. So if you are hiring someone to be a pitching coach look for them when you look through base coaches because it will show you different attribute ratings

Literally each coach on your staff effects your player ratings no matter what position they are in

I think coaches have hidden attribute modifiers. For example, the same guy can be a farm director or a manager, but if you look at him on the different screens, there are different modifiers listed. Leads me to believe that all 8 are active, even though you can only see 4 once you hire him. Hope that makes sense.

It's another one of those hidden SDS things that you will never find out about. This game is riddled with that stuff.
