I don’t understand this. Pitchers aren’t taking AB’s in MLB, the universal DH was introduced for a good reason, why is the game not following the same game being played in MLB?
They used the excuse of it being more strategic to have the pitchers hitting and couldn't admit that they simply didn't feel like changing it

I can’t imagine it’s that difficult to implement a DH into the programming but what do I know? I
Aparrently not a [censored] thing.
What are you a genius? Is there dh in franchise if you play with an AL team?
Nah, I'm just messing with you. I don't play franchise. Is there no dh in franchise with the nl?

Why wouldn’t they? The DH has been around for a very long time and The Show didn’t put it in. I don’t get why people are fussing about this. Okay, so MLB has adopted the universal DH AFTER ‘22 was was coded. Why make a big deal about it? Let your pitchers hit for Pete’s sake. I think it’s awesome when a pitcher hits a sac fly, sac bunt or even a dinger. Cherish this part of the game for as long as possible and use this strategy to your advantage.

Because they start making the game in june or july(maybe earlier than that)universal dh was just talk and rumors then.
It’s actually more than a year out. There are millions of lines of code and thousands of code blocks. It drives me crazy that people think writing software, especially graphic laden games, is just a few keystrokes and it only takes a few minutes to change a feature. And then there’s the domino effect.

I've been a software developer for over 20 years. I agree that its not a few key strokes to add. But to think it would take over a year is a bit of a stretch.
