I realize it is a pain to see if you are not a fan of the Cardinals and it's cool to insult Cardinal fans but let's be honest, if Goldy played for any other team, then that teams fans would be complaining just as much. Nobody likes to see worthy players on their favorite team snubbed.

Kind of like Pujols, notice in his final year he is not getting NEAR the amount of red carpets in away games that Jeter or Ortiz got their final years, and he is a superior hitter to both, with far superior numbers.

Jeter got a lot more at bats later in his career because he was a Yankee captain. If he had been a Ray he likely would have retired sooner or been forced to change positions. He is overrated. Same with Pete Rose. He would never have passed Ty Cobb if he wasn't his own manager getting to fill out the line up card.

Jeter was an awesome ballplayer and the "overrated" thing is silly. He was the heart and soul of the Yankees dynasty for a decade and a half. So let's all stop with the "overrated" garbage.
That said... Pujols is in a different universe.

To be fair, Mookie had more fwar. I would've loved a mookie. I get the market thing though. I'm a Yankees fan and get spoiled but still dislike it and didn't want a Rizzo last month lol

Hence my original comment of him being far superior, and there's no homer in that conclusion at all unlike the Yanks homer.
