I have a lineup set up of these cards but Id rather play a game in RTTS and get 1000 XP from a game there

I tried taking a program PXP squad into the event, most of the lineup was fine, the pitching, save one or two cards, was brutal.
Wouldn’t recommendI did this. Through 5-6 games I think I haven't even hit 100 PXP per batter and haven't completed one pitcher.
These aren't lineup cards. These are collection fillers.
Take them into a CPU game. You’ll finish your pitcher in one game and your hitters in 3-4 (depending on the hitters). For the RP & CP cards, start them. Make one go five innings, use one for the 6th, and a third for 7-9 (so they’ll get the save - or if you’re adventurous, use the second one 6-9). If your RP can go 6, and you don’t allow more than three runs, you’ll get additional points for a QS. Then, the next game, swap them. The one who went 6-9 (or 7-9) starts and the other goes 7-9. Then you’ll have two relievers done in two games.

It's a bit silly that having to get 300pxp with some crappy hitter that you don't want to use is worth the same program xp as a daily moment. They should be 3k, or 2k minimum. I could get the same gameplay XP and way more program xp doing road to the show or march to October.
The toughest part is having to complete several 1st basemen who don't have a secondary position.
Still pitchers were super easy.
I still get uneasy seeing Eddie Murray twist his front foot forward like that.Just be careful on who you pick each round. Always take at least one pitcher and if a player doesn’t have a secondary, make sure you only have one for that position until your a game away from finishing him.
I have at least half the cards finished using this strategy and with the one I posted in this thread using RP & CP cards.

I have not done these missions since the first week of the first program. They are not required for the main missions, nor are they worth the effort.
Unfortunately they are pretty much required for the POTM and other programs, which I am not a huge fan of. Sometimes it seems like if I want to progress I have to bench the players I worked to earn or chose to buy last month simply to earn new cards this month.
That right there. It sucks building a good team and then having to use specific players you don’t care about at all. Or teams full of Rockies for a couple games. Not a big deal, but just king of annoying
I have found some great cards because of the programs. Cards I would never have thought to use. Be adventurous and enjoy the game and the challenge

I'm down to Bagwell. I usually go pitcher first.
