Switching batteries lost me a BR game in 10TH INNING lol all I could do is laugh. I thought they fixed this issue shortly after the game launched…. Guess not.

I always make sure my PS5 has a fully charged set of AAA's before starting a game.

Keep a cable nearby or a controller that is charged lol. I cannot imagine having to switch batteries mid game.

Switch batteries? I've been playing videogames for 30 years and never had to switch batteries??? Can't you just plug it in and keep playing?

I’m so confused by this post- what does sds have to do with your batteries dying? why do you need batteries to play a console in 2022? how the hell did a BR game go 10 innings?

How can you lose while changing batteries? Did you have to run to the store to buy then and run back? The game gives you a timer to replace them. I don't understand.

Xbox One controllers use 2 AA batteries. Still using that myself. I know they have rechargeable packs too. What about the Series S and X controller? Built in battery like the PS4 or 5?

Thank you.... I was so confused about him having to change batteries. That's crazy that Xbox needs aa batteries to run... lol.... like a Walmart brand RC car controller. Every PS wireless controller has had built in battery... low battery warning??? ...simple plug in your USB and keep playing. How long do new batteries last in xbox?? Seems crazy to have to buy new batteries every week to play.

I just hotwired mine to a 850 cranking Amp deep cycle marine battery... lasts for months at a time. I just have to be careful not to stub my toe on the 95lb. battery next to my recliner.

When the game first came out if your Xbox controller turned off for any reason the game would crash. They put out a patch to fix it. I use a rechargeable battery pack and during the game my controller died and it booted me back to the main screen. It just sucks because it was the craziest BR game I’ve ever played and it deserved a natural ending haha.
