Quitting at the slightest competition

Re: Quitters
So what gives online. Admittedly I'm not very good, but every time I do well the opponent up and quits. I have no chance to develop my players with online. Worse when someone is comparable skill wise they simply quit if it isn't a good pitching matchup. They are too concerned with wasting time to even try. They'd rather just find an easier opponent. The perhaps the penalty for quitting online should be worse?

Take the w and just move along bro.

I'm fine with it. I'd rather get to the 800s faster where you don't really see the quits and the competition is better so you gotta be on your game.

A few days ago I had a ranked game where I was down 5-0 in the first inning. Ended up winning 13-8 in the bottom of the fifth inning when he quit. Those are the most fun games to be had. I am not a great player but I do fine. I'll quit if I just know that the other person skill level is just beyond me or something comes up where I have to leave. Other than that I let it roll.

I agree with this. But at the same time, when you’re not very good online and you end up playing well in a game, it’s kind of a drag for your opponent to quit almost 100% of the time.

The only frustrating thing about the opponent quitting is not getting many innings towards the inning reward, but then again it also gives you more time for another game

Was down 7-0 in 8th inning and won 9-7 lol

I am NOT very good online against live players when it's at All Star differculty & above. So to get my 10 to 15 wins in events I normally would need to play 30 to 40 games. The games I win always ends up being 1-0 in score. I am lucky if & when I get to square 1 up for a homer & rallied 1 run in with a combo of a couple of hits & walks. Me scoring 2 or 3 runs is very very very unlikely for me, especially within 3 to 6 inning Event games. So tje moment some scores their 1st run off of me before I even scored myself, I will just immediately quit & try my luck against someone else. I see no point in even bothering or trying to score 2 runs to take the lead before the other person scores a 2nd or 3rd run himself off of me which they normally always do when I have tried to play out the game. So quits for me within Events is very common to me. I just keep on trying to get matched up with someone I can win within a 1-0 score.
