Yes please enlighten us on how your opponents cheated

For anyone that wanted to know how this guy cheated:
First he messages me and tell me that he is one win away from Hoffman; can I please quit.
When I tell him how do you know I'm not one win away myself (I'm not. I already got him) and maybe he should quit.
He then proceeds to tell me that he's going to make this game last forever.
I say go ahead.
He then proceeds to quick pause on and off for about 25-30 secs between pitches.
Finally after the fourth time of doing that the game freezes.
He then messages me and says 'Good Luck getting Hoffman'.
I reply back that I already have him and good luck to him because I'm not leaving the freeze off.
It stayed frozen until the Event ended and popped up as an Unplayed Game.

Your first problem was responding to him. I just ignore it and drop a snowman on his [censored]. Why would I quit so you could earn a reward. Never understood that.

That's not cheating that's being toxic which when you engaged them you are also being toxic.
Just sounds like 2 toxic players that met up in a game to me

Cheaters/abusers are out in full force trying for those last few Event wins.
How can you tell it's getting down to the wire? You complain about cheaters pretty much every day regardless where we are in the timeline for events, RS, and BR! According to you, you run across cheaters everyday, so how do we know it's getting down to the wire because there's cheaters out there?

How was I being toxic? I didn't goad him into doing what he did. He did it because he was pi$$ed that I wouldn't quit to give him a free win.
It's doesn't matter anymore. And it won't matter later; because I doubt he'll be playing much longer considering before 'he' froze the game I reported him in game for cheating (asking to boost) and for toxic play (once he started with the quick pause).
Then after the game I took a screenshot of him asking me to boost and him stating that he caused the game to freeze, along with a screenshot of his past 10 games which were ALL 0-0 wins) and included those when I reported him to SDS thru the site.
I'm pretty sure boosting can get you banned.

Because it was 20-30 mins before the end of the Event and he was trying to get people to quit either voluntarily or by causing a freeze off for his last 10+ games.

But you say that every day! So how is today different from every other day?

Guarantee that if you just flat out didn't respond, waited for him to unpause and played the game you wouldve avoided this, or atleast gotten him to quit.
You b*tch and moan every single day about people who play toxic, people who pause, people who bunt dance, etc.....yet here we are with you admitting that you immediately respond to these people with wise a** comments.....no wonder they do this. It all makes sense now.
Fact of the matter is when it comes to online communities, there are immature people everywhere. And seems like you're one of them. Congrats
