It's clear they do not want a repeat of what happen in TA 2 and 3 last year where players could exchange their duplicates to get the first choice pack and chose the best OP card. It will be like FoTF and the first 6 cards will be random no sell cards so that line up diversity is maintained
-
So 3/4 of the best cards in the game
For the next 4-6 weeks will be future stars? Dumb, should have made them all 91-92 top -
Absolutely stupid to put 30 fake player cards into the game that are equal the the mvp season of a HoFer who they are releasing today.
-
I agree, Future cards are lame. We want to play with our favorite players from the past, not a bunch of minor leaguers. Also to the guy saying the no sell/no choice packs will help maintain lineup diversity... lol. The cards will all be 15k a week into the program and 90% of people will field whichever lineup the youtubers tell them too.

People barely use future stars no matter how good they are. Unless they are stupid overpowered like Cabrera was they are usually just there. Overalls don't mean squat when half of them will be worse than the 90 overall face of the franchise guys. I get it though and it's all I will say because arguing with the future stars hate club you might as well be talking to a wall

Robert Paulson, Jordan Groshans, and Ronny Mauricio were good hitter last year. And of coarse Cabrera as you mentioned. Didn't we also get a couple good relievers? Wasn't Crochet a FS last year?

Crochet was gross last year threw gas feel like he was one of the few cards that stuck around all year from any program

I'm not saying there weren't some good cards in there, but none of them were ever the best option at any given time other than the one with a genuinely broken needed to have been patched release point. There has never been a future star reliever. Crochet's card was a starter

That's right everyone just used him out of the pen lol

I have no issue with Future Stars outside of Cabrera last year. My issue is 30 at the same time. Last year a lot came with TA2, but that was not all TA2 was and there were Future Stars before and after it. I think everyone should be able to voice their opinion and while I completely get some will love this program, to me it is boring and will not help with lineup diversity.

Well said...I have no issues with some FS cards, but dumping 30 of them into the game (and I disagree with Dragon, many will be top options for most who don't have collections done) is silly

In both 20 and 21 30 Future Stars were added into the game at once as part of the 2nd team affinity. 20 didn't feel like 30 because of how TA was structure with 30 different programs and the progress much slower the TA2 in 21.
TA2 in 21 like all of the TA programs were to easy to complete and flood the game with OP cards in a short period of time. That won't happen this time as we will see a structure much like we did in the first featured program. I suspect we will also see 30 diamond legend and flashback cards that will be used for the pxp missions and collection fodder since it drops the same day.

Excited for Brayan Bello.
Throws from 3/4 arm slot and no windup.
-
I love the current program because I’m a Phillies fan but with that being said these inning programs have been horrible. Hopefully they have some amazing ones set for later in the year

21 mixed up TA2…there was a mix of FS and Legends. Some teams had a higher diamond that was a FS and others had a Legend. I may be wrong in what I am looking at, but it looks like only 14 came in TA2 and were a range of 92-95, with only two 95s (Groshans and Priester).

You are correct that's right

It's so stupid how these 95 OVR are going to take over my entire team because they're only a little bit better than my team now.
