“Finish the last three innings of the no-hitter for some XP”

F**k that. Seriously.

I got through all of the moments yesterday, but they took way longer than I thought they would. I don't think I've failed more than 5 or so pitching moments since they were introduced in 19. The difficulty is low and the CPU is easy to punch out. For some reason though I failed every Halladay pitching moment multiple times. I was dotting corners and the cpu was hitting perfect perfect bombs when I couldn't allow a run, and blooping in singles when I couldn't give up a hit.
Real frustrating. Glad it's over and I can focus on other content now.

Had to repeat that moment mission 6x before completing it. I hate Pitcher Moment Missions that you have to go 3 Innings without a hit. It seems the CPU is programed for each batter to suddenly become all these Patient Batters not chasing anything out, fouling off every pitch on the black & puts in play anything in the zone which sooner or later results in a bloop hit or a grounder getting thru for a hit. Then I have to play it out all over again. So freaking frustrating. I finally did it on try #6

This was also the daily moment with Randy Johnson too, for 1,000 XP. Please.
They’re do-able, but it’s absurd you get at much XP rewards for hitting one XBH with Victorino as you do for getting nine straight hitters out with a gassed pitcher. Especially since you can’t control the defense. At least jack up the reward as incentive.

XP makes no sense to me sometimes. I get gameplay XP, score a bunch of runs, get a bunch of XP. But to me the only reason to do daily moments this year is because there's not much variety in other things to do.

This one was the weirdest moment I have ever played. The first 4 attempts at this were solo HRs, all with 2 strikes, on pitches well out of the zone. The next 3, and I don't remember if this was Rookie or Veteran, but the Reds didn't have a single swing and miss and got a 2 out hit in the 9th each of those 3 times, while fouling off around 30 pitches in the process. The 8th attempt was a leadoff HR on a sinker that should have been a HBP on the batter's elbow that went 425 feet literally off the hands - even got the wonky animation of being fooled on the pitch, haha. I whole-heartedly loathe confirm restarts. They are uninspiring, lackluster time sinks. I try to avoid complaining about the game but confirm restarts are just monotonous ploys to keep you playing the game so the data can show 'people love Moments - just look at how many times they play them.' I am, however, thankful for the XP system so I can avoid Showdowns altogether. Confirm restarts are bad enough, but a pack of confirm restarts is the worst. I'd rather they be actual 'moments' so I could get back to just playing the game and not forced into a time sink.

Cole Hammels with his weird timing in PPP was the worst IMO
