One positive difference — simming games in Conquest finally goes faster.

What I don’t understand is that they got two new guys, and then almost half of the dialogue is exactly the same?
Boog is just trying way too hard, and so the tone is wildly uneven from one sentence to the next. At least Matty V was consistent with his delivery. Couldn’t they have gotten someone proven and consistent, like Jon Miller? And agreed that Chris gets buried.
F**k that. Seriously.

I do believe the Daniel Nava moment from 18 is the all time worst. it was just brutal
Those old “moments” were absolutely brutal because it wasn’t a moment — you had to accomplish them in a full 9-inning game. So many games I had to walk the CPU with the bases loaded to even the score and (hopefully) artificially extend the game. I remember a few people rage quitting because they got three hits with Nava (which wasn’t easy), managed to get him up to bat again in the 9th, and the CPU pitcher hit him with the first pitch. Ha ha ha.
As an Orioles fan, I’ll make you a deal: never mention his name again, and I won’t bring up the Tatis-for-James Shields trade, OK?
Even though I have been playing for the past ten days, last night my puppy got scared when Shohei appeared on the intro screen. She growled and backed up, hackles raised, and when it cut away to him and his highlights, she yipped and ran out of the room.
Which, to be fair, is the reaction most wives and girlfriends have every time you fire up MLB The Show,
I’m so sorry to hear that but thanks for giving him a great life for so many years. The pain of losing dogs in my teens is what kept me from getting another one for many, many years, but a few months ago we adopted a stubby-legged bundle of love and trouble from a nearby shelter. I know there’s another Nestor out there in need who can’t wait for what you have to offer them.
I think he gets it. If I’m playing against the Cardinals and my team is out of the race, I would definitely be leaving a few fastballs down the middle for him.
Try flipping something other than player cards. Some other things are lower volume but higher margins. The player card market this year has razor-thin margins in general.
I had some Internet issues where it went down, and I was still able to play MTO. (I didn’t try RTTS)
And yes, you got the rewards once your Internet connection was back.

I blew through all the setup matches to Wagner and then he tied me up in knots. Fortunately I ram him out of energy and won with two outs remaining, but I didn’t enjoy facing him.
It has happened several times in MLB games in similar situations and is considered a heads-up play. There’s no rule that says you have to catch the ball.
I fare a lot better with pulse than with meter, personally. I’m never going to master pinpoint, but with pulse I hit my target more often than not.
I like the idea of some interesting cards beyond the classic baseball card layout or a player with lightning bolts (ooh, scary), but the Takashi cards are a little too far, too fast for me. I don’t even recognize some of the players at first glance. It’s like going from the Sims right to anime tentacle porn.

I think you're right it was a player mission you had to get in a single gm. I thought it was like get 4 Hits in one gm
& his card was absolutely
.
Yeah, it was in a full game. The worst is when you had already finished Conquest and your other missions, so you were really only playing the game to get one guy up to the plate. That was torturous. Like trying to get two XBH in a game with 2018 J.P. Crawford. He pops up for an out, and now you’re staring down three meaningless innings, including having to pitch, until he’s back up again. No bueno.
