Cheating* as far as the game goes I been playing it for over 15 years and know the game mechanics and coding. A lot of a people don’t understand the abilities and what they actually do but I do cause I’ve done some a lot or practicing around with them and know which ones are the best and what their weakness is. Also streaks are easy to defend unless you just sit in cover 3 all game with no adjustments than you asking for a streak up the middle my guy.

Understanding the mechanics of the game is the key to being good at any sport. If you don't know much about baseball you pretty much answered your own question. If you weren't heavily into football do you think you would be any good at Madden? The Show online is pretty much shark infested waters.
Continue playing against the CPU for a while and be sure you understand why you're doing whatever you're doing. Check out some tutorials on YouTube. Watch a lot of baseball.
This. I played baseball for a very long time and know a ton about the game in all aspects. I was making WS the first month I played DD in 17. Flip side, I have never played soccer in my life and have only watched some World Cup games. If I were to play FIFA, I would be absolutely horrible.
True I started playing madden like 16 years ago and was really good at it from the jump cause I played football and knew the ins/ outs of the game. But that’s what I been doing know is playing the cpu 95% of the time. Playing mini seasons is great for me and I HATE playing the cpu on Madden cause it’s so easy to beat but I’m really liking it in the show cause they be close games so it’s gives me the “adrenaline” feel like I’m playing competitively lol.

Oh so your a H2H ranked warrior congrats. I play the mode that gets me the most satisfaction I like team building. I’m like 31-3 in regular H2H so either or I’m good enough to beat plenty of people regs or MUT style. As far as team selection I always choose who I wanna play with in regs. I can’t use the same team 100+ times in a row without getting bored idc if it’s my favorite team I switch it up.

Not sure it's been impressed enough here, but Zone hitting and Pinpoint Pitching. Those are the interfaces that rely the most on user input. If you don't learn to master those, you will not have the kind of success you are hoping for. I know you see a lot of Timing based hitting is OP, but it's just that it's a high floor low ceiling interface. People who aren't that good will get bailed out by RNG. But if you master Zone, you will actually be rewarded far more often.

As far as team selection goes I pick who I feel like playing with. If I wanna play with Arod guess what? I’m picking the Packers. I played with plenty of low tier teams Jags, Miami, and even my Texans. Bravo for you sticking with the Eagles even if my team was absolutely the best team in the game I wouldn’t pick them every game. That’s just not my play style I like to experiment different schemes with different teams.

Also streaks are easy to defend unless you just sit in cover 3 all game with no adjustments than you asking for a streak up the middle my guy.

Xbox nah, ps5 only here. MUT, DD, FUT all is for dorks personally. That’s not a fact it’s an opinion. It’s fantasy sports or pay to play (hence why every feature in this games sucks otherwise. All they care about is your money). If I wanted to play fantasy I’d join real life fantasy leagues and play for cash. Come back to me when you actually play with your favorite team and see how well you do in ranked H2H (unless you’re one of those bandwagon jumpers who only use teams over 90 OVR).
Oh so your a H2H ranked warrior congrats. I play the mode that gets me the most satisfaction I like team building. I’m like 31-3 in regular H2H so either or I’m good enough to beat plenty of people regs or MUT style. As far as team selection I always choose who I wanna play with in regs. I can’t use the same team 100+ times in a row without getting bored idc if it’s my favorite team I switch it up.
Okay let’s unpack this. So you don’t REALLY play H2H, 31-3 is nothing because you’re most likely playing a bunch of scrubs so that doesn’t count. Difference between MUT and regular is you aren’t using a super team. Now the 2nd part, you “can’t use the same team”, so then you just abuse the good teams then I assume? Because no one is picking bad teams unless they are a true fan of them. I bet you’re one of them Tampa Bay, Rams, Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills players huh? Lol
Okay let unpack this and give you a dose of reality. 1. I can play what mode I want and when I want cause it’s in the game right? You sound like you pause the game before it even starts and message your opponent “don’t throw out routes, don’t call mid blitz, don’t quick snap me.” That’s exactly what your sounding like and again I’ll say it I CAN PLAY WHAT MODE I WANT AND HOW I WANT. Get that through your head.

As far as team selection goes I pick who I feel like playing with. If I wanna play with Arod guess what? I’m picking the Packers. I played with plenty of low tier teams Jags, Miami, and even my Texans. Bravo for you sticking with the Eagles even if my team was absolutely the best team in the game I wouldn’t pick them every game. That’s just not my play style I like to experiment different schemes with different teams.
Sir can you give me some defensive tips I can't stop nobody in regs madden. I get no pass rush and pass coverage get shredded. Thanks. I'm a Cleveland Browns fan btw.
