Ranked seasons freezing

This is the first year I’m really starting to play ranked and it’s usually pretty fun. However I am getting into a frozen game once every five games at least within the first 3 innings and my opponent and I end up just sitting here unable to play because we don’t want to give up the win. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble? I’m on Xbox but hope something gets done about this because I’m trying to get better facing real pitching and not just playing against the cpu.
