Yeah you can play for a few hours and won’t use up much more than 1GB

I used to play via my phones network when I was away studying.
With that said it wouldn’t explain why online has been trash for years. Last time I remember it being rewarding and playable was in 16’

The lag in this game has way way more to do with ping rate.

Something to consider. With everyone home due to coronavirus we are using more broadband. Plus hospitals are being used more and they pull broadband. So much so that Netflix has taken measures to reduce quality to open more broadband and speed up the internet.
Point is the game may not being playing great on the online for reasons beyond the developer. I for one have disconnected more this week than ever.

yes, but a ridiculous low amount of broadband when EVERYONE is using it along with EVERY other device at a greater than average amount. Its NOT JUST internet gaming. Its ALL the broadband that is being sucked up.
