Themed event question

Ok so this event goes up to 100 wins..
The next event is called the show goes on 2..so this is a themed event correct?So say I have 50 wins by April 2nd when the next event starts...can I still get Brooks Robinson at 70?
Can someone please explain what/how themed events work

So this first one isn't a themed one?

So themed events are basically the cards sets specifically, the next event will be live series and flashback cards only. I believe that it will be a new event and not a continuation of this one because this one is set to finish on April 2 and it has been going on since the game came out.
This current event is not a themed event because you can use any card set available, themed events are usually like Rookies and Veteran cards only. Hopefully this helps.

There's a calendar somewhere on this website. It seems like the UI is a little different this year and maybe I'm just getting old but I can't seem to find it today...
Anyway, I fully expect a third event in the series. Last year the big rewards were redeemed for vouchers that they gave out over a series of 3 events.
