When you select who you want to use as a starter, just keep scrolling down to the bullpen arms & pick the LR, MR, SU or CP you want to use. The down side is in a 9 inning game. His stamina may only take you 3 to 5 innings at max until out of energy.

To bring in a SP to replace a RP. Just use a SP as a pinch hitter for that RP & The SP will be your pitcher coming next inning. However the downside to that is that he is not warmed up. Even if you throw all of the 8 warm up pitches, he will only be 50% to maybe 80% at most warmed up. That can negatively effect his control, velocity & confidence. How much depends the lower he was warmed up.

Or you can just go into your Bullpen and hit R1 to pull up the SP screen and warm them up.

Cool Beans. I never even knew that was possible. I always only seen the bullpen guys & just assumed I had to chose from them only. Now I really feel like a dork with all the years me playing DD & all it's modes within & me not even knowing that R1 function was available. DOUGH!!!!!!!!! (Homer Simpson)

Wow. This was a weird thread. Almost like 2 women talking about football and then a man walked in the room. 😂
