Very early or very late swings being bombs

I just played a game where all my opponents hits came off very early or very late swings and I had 4 good swings with the PCI on the ball and just softly ground out or line drive to an outfielder. This has happened in all my diamond dynasty games so far and it’s highly annoying to play good and not get results you deserve. The game should be more rewarding for hitting and pitching on good timing.
