Only reason I grind this program is for the big collections down the line where you will definitely need all POTM players.
I get that but I'd also like to attain usable cards along the way , props to those that find value in this but I'm not.
Ok. So say they give you a useable card in the April POTM. But then a few days after you obtain it ; they release another card, at the same position, that is better than the POTM card.
You're not going to complain that the card you just obtained, that you stated was useable, is now obsolete?
While this Rizzo card may not be useable to you; it could be useable to someone else.
Then we don't have to worry about everyone having the same lineups.
Me personally; I probably won't use him because I'm fine using LS Freeman, Youklis, or even CA Ortiz at first, until they release a different Ortiz card.
But I'll grind the program because it gets me XP, stubs, and cards for free that will probably cost 2-3x more when they eventually drop a decent Mega Collection player (probably a 2 way Ruth).

If you have collections done and expect a usable card out of the very first PotM program the problem is with your expectations, not the card.

It's crazy cause that was a complaint argument on here for the last couple years that we need a more stat grind like program like the immortal grind. Now we have something thats a grind where the goal is essentially get alot of stats with certain players and now everyone is up in arms. Now I know the reward is the issue but SDS clearly balanced that with the option to sell the cards and make an easy 100k

I'm going to go out on a limb and state that he means an online player.
What I've noticed is that people are saying that this card won't 'work' in HOF levels (for Ranked) so it's useless to players that hit those levels.
But wouldn't you think that if a REAL player was in fact a REAL player; card attributes wouldn't matter? If you're good you can use a Bronze and still accomplish what you set out to accomplish.

Which fist basemen, even secondary first basement, are CLEARLY better than Rizzo besides Frank? 80 plus contact both sides (85/90 at parallel 4), over 100 power both sides, over 70 vision. Plus defense which is far more than adequate at first. His overall is being nerfed by his 20 speed. If his speed was 50 he'd be a 94/95.

I mean we can dive even deeper that to get one of the immortal cards you had to complete the Daniel Nava program. Would love to see the response to the program today if it was added to the game

Heres a simple solution to your problem. If you dont wanna grind for a card you feel is useless, DON'T. You do have a choice.

Problem is first base is a loaded position already. He is not a terrible card but we already have some good cheap ones with FoTF. Then you add in Albert, Prince, Vlad Jr, and a bunch of guys with secondary 1b.
