Gwynn's card has a diamond shield but his in-game shield will be gold because his Fielding rating is an 87 (need a 90+ to be diamond in-game shield). In-game shield color is only based on Fielding rating

It worked for 3 weeks in 19, then back to our regular programming as there’s a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that’ll be a home run. And so that’ll make it a 4-0 ballgame.
