I got him last night for 380k. I did a lot of grinding mini seasons. Then sell everything! Go through your binder and sell everything you do not have locked in. 50 stubs here and there does add up. List them, never do sell now. I did do all of the live series collections first, which maybe was a mistake but now I only need Ohtani and Vlad Jr. I also dont have to worry about buying any 2500 commons and when I pull them I can sell them. So there is an advantage of getting most of the collections done quickly.

If you’re good at the game, play BR and go for 12 wins

If not, flipping on the market is your best bet

I just now saved up enough to place a buy order for Trout

Went 12-1 this morning to net Tatis, sold him, now waiting for someone to sell me the big fish

Congrats man! you must be a boss to go 12-1. Respect!

    Appreciate it

Should have been flawless. 10-0, up 1-0 top 3rd, he’s down to his last out, runner on second, I jam Mondesi and he gets a perfect seeing eye single

Then I crumbled in the 4th but whatever. Still a nice haul

I think I can get to 12 wins (on my best day) but my BR runs always end with a freeze off or some technical difficulty. So I save myself the sweat and grind the reward path instead.

It is definitely stressful if/when you get to 9-0 or 9-1 and see a potentially expensive 12 win reward

My strategy is to play BR when I know I’m locked in, usually coming off good swings in RS on HOF or Legend. Don’t play those important, last 3 games unless you know you’re in the zone

Stay calm, work counts, and good luck. I’ve also experienced some freeze offs in BR last year at terrible times, but, luckily I haven’t had that happen yet this year

I never look at the 12 game reward. Had one earlier and it was DeGrom. No idea who it was until I won the game. Much better that way. Knowing you lost Trout in a 12 win game would make you ill.

Lol already happened to me this year, lost game 11 with Trout as the 12 win.

I can’t not look, I’ll never be able to resist
