Struggling with 120 hz.

Offline this plays great ! I can sit back on pitches and it seems the input lag is completely fine as I can track the ball more.
Online I am late on almost everything now. Anyone else having issues ? It's almost as if it is playing worse for me than before the update.
I have an LG C1. All settings on the TV should be ok ( that I know of). PS5 is set into performance mode. VRR on etc...
Wondering if anyone has any suggestions to see if I can check anything on my end ? Because it is pretty disappointing to go from 60 to 120hz and not see any benefits online and have the game actually feel slower like my bat is dragging after I swing.

Also, anyone else have a C1 where the screen gets really dim while playing sometimes? I have turned off all power saving settings and thought I had it figured out. But it is happening again ?

I had the same issue and then turned off VRR and restated both my TV and console. It worked well for me. Try it and let me know. I have a Sony 900h rather than the C1, though.

Not so far. I was getting better performance online without it and don’t want to touch anything. My TV and console seem to have trouble recognizing changes without restarting both. The pitching input seems like the easiest place to gauge input lag online.

Same. Offline crush everything, feels good. Online I'm more late with 120 than I was with 60.

Even offline doesn't feel as good as when 120hz was first added.

I'm the opposite. I'm early on everything online with VRR and 120hz activated.

I wouldn't say I'm that much more late or early then normal. No significant impact on my skill or lack thereof lol

I have same tv and I am having same issue. First week or 2 online play was amazing. Now it’s not good even after update. No way it is functioning the way it’s suppose to be.

I kinda agree with this. When the patch came in for offline only I was early on everything. Since the new patch to add it online, offline seems to have slowed down. Its weird.

I kinda agree with this. When the patch came in for offline only I was early on everything. Since the new patch to add it online, offline seems to have slowed down. Its weird.
Somthing changed. Even if you go to practice mode with 120 hz enabled you are back to getting blown away by fastballs. Curious to get more opinions in this.

Yeah, both offline and online are playing much better.

Yeah. When it first came out I blew through a mini season on HOF made and knocked out the extra base hits with no problem at all. I went in again today after I noticed how late I was in online on everything and hitting was completely different. Wish it wouldn't have changed.
