Game freezing at pitcher selection screen

Anyone else running into this issue this morning in ranked seasons? Event is working fine. But for Ranked Seasons, as soon as I get opponent found and the screen changes to pitcher selection my game freezes.

It’s an unintended cause from the patch that deployed this morning
Typical, and we should have known by now that something would be broken from the patch
Funny and pathetic that the broken aspect is matchmaking lol
I’ve only been playing the event so far today, froze twice on me in the 6 games I’ve searched for/played

I have the same exact problem on PS5. Freezes on “Searching for opponent” after an opponent is found and min/max drop to 0. Happens for me both in ranked and event. Haven’t been able to play online at all for 2 days
