This mornings update causes game crashes when loading any dd game mode.

Sds literally broke the game. No one can get an online game going. No acknowledgment thus far from sds, which obviously means no timeframe on a fix.

I’ve played 4 event games this morning
I have cross play turned off, maybe that will help?
I did have one occurrence where the pitcher selection screen froze. Other than that, I suppose I’m lucky

Have the same problem on ps5 but can play events on switch. Also tried it with cross platform turned off and that did not help

So everytime I attempt to load a game, it goes through the matchmaking process, finds an opponent then fails to load. My opponents rating bar minimum and maximum will both drop to zero, sit there for roughly 45 seconds, and then I get the lost connection with opponent error.
Multiple people having the same issue. Rebooted everything Multiple times. PS5 with cross play on for whatever that's worth.

Game is a mess. Thought they fixed the r2 mess last update. Still present. Now the games freezes on the pitcher selection menu for dd games. Lol. What a joke

This must be why it’s taking an insane amount of time to find and opponent in BR. I haven’t had any issues except for waiting 5+ mins for a game

Up through yesterday only the series X ran at 120. Are they adding support for PS5? Cuz I know VRR is coming soon. This is one reason I have only been playing on my Series X for the 4K 120FPS.

NM. Just installed the patch and can confirm, PS5 now can do 120Hz!!!! Obviously it isnt working correctly but this is great news!
It isnt gonna work right now because VRR is still not supported.

That's good news. With VRR dropping soon for PS5, those are major developments which will also benchmark other games. Now hopefully a gameplay patch will come soon and the game can be saved.
