Massive stub/market manipulation going on. The bans need to be announced

Just look at the completed trout orders (you can also go to Reddit for more explanation), but at exactly 7:33am a ton of trouts live series sold for a range between 125k and 700k. With similar moves taking place in the minutes before. Someone(s) are clearly manipulating the market (violating TOS) and need to be banned forever with those bans announced to discourage this kind of behavior going forward. It’s hard to keep market integrity if some people don’t have to play by the same rules.

SDS isn’t going to ban a whale, not until the data shows nobody is playing anymore.

Haven't paid attention to that specifically, but when market was introduced i thought it was a bad idea if they didn't put a cap on players. I will never pay over 100k for any fake card.

SDS isn’t going to ban a whale, not until the data shows nobody is playing anymore.
These aren’t whales. Whales buy stubs from SDS. These are scumbags buying from a third party (ie “stealing” from SDS, by undercutting their stub prices). They need to be banned and permanently no matter who they are.

So I understand why the trouts sold at 700k, stub transferring, but I'm struggling to understand who sold a Trout for 125k and why

DeGrom just had a 550k and 700k transaction go thru back to back too
There are only 10 DeGroms available at this minute and the prices ranger from 288K to 666K. Of course there will be fluctuations
I'm still baffled at how people think things are being manipulated with these high in demand cards.

Well, we had to know it would happen, scumbag’s have been creeping into the show universe for about 4 years now. Still I highly doubt SDS will do anything about it, maybe in 2024

Trout had about 50 transactions occur within one minute. Maybe I'm misreading, but are you trying to say that's normal? It absolutely 100% is someone manipulating the market. It's not even a question.

Not saying it is normal. I don't use the market enough to know. Just trying to understand how using these high in demand cards for for any type of market manipulation or stubs transfers is viable considering they are high in demand. Seems like it would be very hard to pull off.

It’s not just Trout whose price changed drastically overnight.

The ban hammer needs to happen. Can't have guys doing this. Shouldn't be all that hard to pinpoint which accounts these are coming from

This is very clearly market manipulation and stub transferring. Bans need to happen or you might as well get rid of the market and stubs altogether.

Perhaps the culprit is SDS.

If I had the starting balance I see no problem with studying the orders and if I identify a huge gap on the buy now orders buying them all up and relisting them at a higher amount. People will see the gap and outbid each other on sell now orders. Once the sell orders exceed what I paid for them I would sell them. Quicker than regular flipping. I don't agree with the transferring though.

Just look at the sales history of all the gatekeepers. It pretty much speaks for itself
