Is absolutely absurd. Did SDS envision a slip n slide when creating these diving play animations? How does every infielder get a speed boost mid dive? You dive like 3 seconds early for a ball like 10 ft away and make the play every time. It’s the most overpowered defensive animation I’ve ever seen in mlbts

Don't forget that every infielder can make the Jeter jump throw like it's routine. So dumb.

I mean a fielder as bad a Jeter did it often on routine plays. I don't care how many gold gloves he won, he was a slightly below average fielder, and a great hitter.

Been that way for years. The masses are just barely starting to notice it for some reason though so I'm sure they'll go through and get a fix when the content creators get upset about it and start making videos about it.

Can we maybe chill on common-silver fielders catching 115 mph linedrives too? Or how about frank Thomas fielding anything above 75 mph?
