So the switch can only run this game at 40 frames how wide are there hitting windows compared to us? I would turn cross play off but it’s literally impossible to get a match late at night.

I suggest keeping cross play off. Unless you want to play some kid sitting in the back of his moms mini-van.

After being used to playing The Show on Playstation, the Switch version is almost unplayable in comparison.

I can't imagine that.
Really, a lot of it comes down to the slower frame rate and small screen combination but functionally it's not up to par, either.
