Sorry man, but you try being an astros fan on the internet. It's exhausting.
Try being a Mariners fan since 1992, haha that's been a rough journey too. 4 maybe potential years since then, with no end in sight. I may die having never seen them go to a World Series.
I'm no Astros fan by any means because of those recent years, but yeah, it's not really the fans fault.
They look good this year. They are an exciting team to watch at least.

Oh please. I’m an O’s fan. We’ve been a laughing stock since I was born.

Read
No.
Hahahaha, I like the editing....
Read.....
No!Well, it's an extremely good book which points out that while the Astros did headline the most recent scandal, they were by no means alone nor is this new to the game. For instance, buzzers were often buried in the third base coach box back in the early 1900s which allowed the coach to communicate a stolen sign to his hitter when his feet felt a buzzing.

I thought it was pretty low for SDS to reference the dumbest conspiracy theory in sports in the title for the Altuve HR moment, and it looks like they changed it. I guess someone realized it was a dumb move in the first place
As an Astros fan I laughed when I saw it.

Can someone please clarify what this title was? I'm dying to know!

It was originally called “Buzzer Beater”.

It was low class. The astros fans didn't cheat, the players and coaches did. I very seriously doubt the millionaire players care what sds puts in the game, but a 12 year old fan might. This game is for kids after all.
The Yankees are actively trying to hide a letter about their involvement in 2017 sign stealing.. not a peep for sds or baseball fans.
The Redsox were caught cheating as well. Again, not a peep from sds, or baseball fans.
Players have accused the Dodgers of the same sign stealing, not a peep, not an investigation, nothing.
Nope. Let's dog pile the astros fans because millionaire players they have never even met or spoken too cheated, its silly. Last year the astros fans hardly got any content in the game, and now this year we get a program but it's laced with some Californian biased dev joke. It's ridiculous and unprofessional. We showdown be able to play the game without being reminded that in 2017 we were the best cheaters.
1st world problems here

My favorite topic...
Yeah, Astros cheated.
A bunch of veterans on the team didn't. McCann, Reddick and contrary to popular belief (especially this forum) Altuve didn't either.
Specifically to the shirt tearing, there was a previous game in that Altuve smacked a walk off hit. When he got to home plate, teammates ripped off everything. During the post game interview with Julia Morales, he was wearing whatever shirt he had. He stated that his wife already called him and wasn't happy with him being shirtless after the game. It makes her jealous. She was home with their 1 year old and he told Julia jokingly, if this happens again, he'll have to make sure they don't rip his shirt again or else he'd be in big trouble.
Chapman's smile was similar to Mariano Rivera after the 2001 Lugo bloop. Laughing is a coping mechanism.
Anyways, I found it as a funny troll job. Mildly creative. I had no issue with it.
I'm not here to defend anyone like Bregman, Marwin, Springer etc. Altuve though has been raking his entire career, covering the plate as well as anybody, and very aggressively.
I get how the narrative works in favor of the mob though.

I posted the moment on YT with its original title before the change, so there it stays, lol

Read Cheated by Andy Martino. It's a very fair assessment of the scandal, who was really involved, the history of sign stealing etc. I think you'll find it paints an unbias (and Martino is New York writer) depiction of the Astros got caught up but we're hardly the only ones. And yes, he pretty much exonerates Altuve

I didnt see this moment or this thread until now. Thankfully. It really is exhausting. I understand all the flaming coming from fans, they are uneducated and passionate about their own fanbase, it is when other players, especially from teams that have been busted for or under suspicion for the same thing that erks me.
And leave Altuve the F alone!! lol. Dude is a standup ball player and human being. I cannot defend Correa, Gurriel, Springer, Marwin or for a couple Months Bregman, but everyone knows by now Altuve wasnt involved.
PS, and F Beltran and Cora <--- this is given in chat on this site, so I better not get in trouble for it.

Altuve summary, quick version.
