Am I wrong in think there are way more diamond prospects this year? Last year I was able to keep up with prospects cards as they were released.
On Day 22 last year, there were 10
Prospects available:
Dominguez, Liberatore, Franco (Space 1)
Abrams (HL 2)
Blewday, Luciano, Adler (Space 2)

Tork (HL 1)
Adley (Collect)
JRod (Chase)
Witt, Marte, casas (BD 2)
Moreno, Cruz, Alvarez (BD 3) -

Well, to me it makes sense (assuming it goes this way"). Maybe they want less high rated prospects this year, so getting the prospects out of the way early with low diamonds.

Or their setting up the give each team a diamond prospect.

Idk about way more but there may be just a couple more. Lat year you had 1 collection reward which cancels out. 1 headliner which also cancels. And roughly 2 per space pack, which I think they big dogs have 3.
I get a feeling that I'm going to soon regret not having all of these cards
I'm not sure tbh. They have already been loading the big dog packs into events so we will see a lot of those. The gold prospects have already been given out more than last year at this time. Usually they don't add a whole lot more prospect cards and give out a lot of the packs they come in so honestly the prospect set is what I'm least worried about come big collection
Curious, what are you most worried about?
Personally none. I'll get it done regardless. But as far as card series go anything but rookies, breakouts, allstars and prospects are a priority. Postseason and 2nd Half especially because the top cards for a player are Sig, Milestones, Awards, Prime, and the lower ones are the series I named earlier. Postseason and 2nd have are like the weird middle child usually and just don't have as many cards come out
Lol interesting comparison, thanks bud.
I have been looking at the collections a lot lately and I am taking things different this year compared to last. I am breaking the cardinal rule around here and not buying Trout first and not completing Live Series first. Instead I am doing what I did after I completed LS last year and try and balance out each collection. I have been buying random Flashback/Legend cards and prioritizing rewards so that I can save for a flash sale to buy cards that have come from packs....unless free packs cause a significant decrease and then I go ahead and grab them.
I completely agree on 2nd Half and Postseason. Those seemed to be the ones that caught some people off guard last year. Last year I was really worried about Signature and Prime and then it seemed like overnight you could get them everywhere. Here is a breakdown of the percentages needed last year for Mookie Vouchers. If I remember correct, percentage wise it was a bit more forgiving for the Rivera collection.
Mookie Collection
Rookie 78% 35/45 cards
Breakout 81% 25/31 cards
All-Star 89% 45/64 cards
Veteran 82% 40/49 cards
Postseason 83% 25/30 cards
Milestone 86% 25/29 cards
2nd Half 87% 20/23 cards
Prospects 85% 35/41 cards
Prime 75% 12/16 cards
Awards 80% 20/25% cards
Signature Series 83% 10/12 cards
Future Stars 87% 20/23 cards -

But we did get a lot of cards in those AL/NL packs in this first program. It may be a trend throughout the year.
