Mini Seasons - Massive Potential

I see this mode having tantalizing potential.
One thing I love to do in the game (and I’m sure many others) is look at statistics. If there was a statistics section (similar to what you see in custom leagues), I believe it would appeal to a large part of the base.
In fact, as someone who is burnt crisp on the online grind (I’m not half bad either [that’s not why]), some additions to mini seasons I believe would keep the offline base around.

I agree, also it does seem like there isn't a ton of stuff for offline people. I play maybe 2-3 hours a night and sometimes not at all. i've been able to do events, BR, and keep up with all offline content with relative ease. for me that's plenty, and certainly not complaining. but people that are offline only it might get a bit boring just doing conquest and mini seasons over and over again with maybe the occasional program getting them to mix up their team a bit. i personally wish they had more showdowns and made them a bit tougher with a greater reward. imagine the final boss being 99 randy johnson on all star or hall of fame difficulty, but you get 5 ballin packs and 50,000 xp for completing.

But, yeah this is spot on hahaha. I looove stat building. That's an aspect I loved about TA. I'd build 6 teams and complete the rewards paths and see who I had the best stats with.
I read somewhere on here that they should make it a bit like RTTS, have an all star game and keep track of all stats to determine the All Stars, make it a mission to get X amount of players on the team. Or have a batting title, home run champ, Cy Young, MVP.
I think once this program works it will be a ton of fun and if they flesh it out with stats, awards, etc. It would be killer.

Do we know yet, does the season reset on May 2nd? Do we need to complete a season prior to that to save our progress? I'm hoping that this update will be the fix we've all been waiting for.

I’ve been wondering the same. And will it always be this Longoria up there or will it keep evolving?

Agree. I'm really excited about the possible directions they could go with this mode. I would like for the seasons to be longer.
definitely a stats page. And make it to where you can have multiple seasons going at once, and have it lock your team in for the full season except for once mid season you can add 1 new player from your inventory (like a trade deadline). Have the difficulty be locked in at the begging as well. Have the rewards based on your record and the difficulty as well as how far you progress into the postseason.
In a perfect world it would be a 30-50 grind on hall of fame and the rewards would be a reflection of the difficulty and time you spent playing

Let's take baby steps and get SDS to actually make mini-seasons playable for everyone first. I've been getting Unhandled Server Exception for the past 2 weeks after I won the semi-final round. I was having fun up until I got F*cked by this stupid error that SDS isn't doing anything about even though they've known about it since literally day 1 of early access.
