Franchise mode -Manual/Auto settings not working properly.

I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

When you select Manual for all options, the game still auto subs, auto scouts, calls up/sends down players, auto corrects batting order, etc.

This has been an issue since release, however I'm trying to see how prevalent it is, so that I can make a report to SDS with hopes of a fix. It's completely ruining Franchise mode by taking the fun out of having full control over an organization.

Hey GameWireX I agree with you. yes it has happened. have you seen also that challenges are down also. last year you would see a challenge a lot and you would be able to challenge. in franchise that is also big. thanks and best of luck!

I noticed something similar.. try turning CPU ROSTER CONTROL to ON.. all but guarantees full control over an organization

Definitely an issue. If you play Franchise as experienced it makes moves for you and even has released some players that I drafted for no reason. If you switch to beginner, then it stops happening. Really lame because I want to play with injuries etc...but don't want the computer to switch my lineup, pitching staff and make moves for me while i am on manual.

I don't know if this is related, but I'm playing two different franchises. I tried to have different settings in each. But if I set Scouting to manual in one, it sets it to manual in the other as well. Those settings seem to apply to all franchises, which I don't think it did before. I would set everything how you want it, and then go into Data Utility and manually save the franchise. Then exit and reload the franchise to see if the settings were retained. If they are not, or if they are changing after that without you changing the setting in a different saved franchise, then I would think it's a bug.
