Anyone on Xbox Mess Around With Elite Controller Settings?

You can mess with the analog stick sensitivity and plane of the dead zone or whatever it is.
Anyone mess around with this and have any luck finding successful settings for zone hitting?

Not an Xbox player but I’d probably go with 0 dead zone or whatever is closest to it. It’ll probably take a good while to get used to it but you’ll have a lot of control

The way they have it set up is there are three rings on the plane of the joystick and you can make them whatever size and change the sensitivity.
I just started messing with it but I made the inside ring as big as possible to keep the pci centered to prevent over pursuing a ball in the middle of then zone and it seems to kind of propel the pci to the outside since the outer two rings are close together….seems to help reach the corners more easily as well as keep the pci from getting on top or a pitch in the zone.

I haven't messed with the sticks but I made it so the toggle switches A and X so that I can have power swing on A when I want it, mostly for moments. It's a small thing but hitting X to swing ks awkward for me.

I think you’re going to want to do the exact opposite of that

Although I’m not familiar with the software so I could be very wrong. And 0 dead zone could be miserable on the show so do whatever works. I just know many of the best controller fps players play on 0-very small deadzones

I’m just testing it out but my thought process was to be able to get from middle to outside fast and limit the side to side movement in the middle.
I see what you are saying for fps shooters, but I think the type of movement in mlb is just one direct movement, not following a starting enemy. I’m going try everything over the course of the next few days I think.

Found anything that works best?

So wait..... Xbox users are capable of tweaking their controllers to be able to move to locations faster and more accurate ?
Not trying to be controversy guy here because I'm sure in the end it probably isn't as big of deal as I am thinking, but still.....

If you buy the expensive elite controller. PS has their version coming soon. This month I think.

There are a couple different options you have for Xbox. I love the fact that you can map the A button to one of the secondary buttons with some of the better controllers. For some reason the way my brain works every time I use my right thumb to hit the A button to swing my left thumb wants to pull down and I was constantly dropping my pci. I got the Wolverine V2 and it has an extra trigger at top right where you have the RB and RT triggers. I placed my index finger there anyways because that is where it felt the most natural when holding the controller so I mapped the A button to that trigger. I no longer drop my pci and it has done wonders for my hitting. Also it doesn't affect the A button, just kind of makes two A buttons on the controller so when you are in the field and need to throw home you still would do so like normal. I also just realized how much this post sounds like an infomercial

I have an Elite controller and refuse to use it because I still find the cheap $20 Power A controller to be better, but this really isn’t a XBOX users have an advantage thing. It is more that Sony has yet to release higher end controllers where XBOX has been for years.
