I'm 1 point away from Tatis so wondering if I lose out in the divisional round will get me that single point I need for Tatis.

    Any insight?

    Thx

No, but if you are in danger of losing and need the points, drop the difficulty. It wont yield you the points you would have got, but you will get more than 1 point winning the DS on Beginner.

Thanks. I may do that just to get through the games quicker otherwise I need to do stat or inning missions for 5 points to get Tatis. Both are probably the same length of time at this point.

I lost the first game of the divisional round and decided to drop the difficulty. I knew if I lost another I would have to play all nine innings of the next three games. I didn’t want to risk all that time for a couple affinity points, especially because they increased the amount of points you get now anyway.

I start the first game of the DS in the 5th down 4-0 so I am def thinking of dropping down to rookie lol

It should be pointed out that it drops you all the way to beginner/rookie but still will be better to win on rookie than lose in DS.

Nice man. Actually it says that it only drops it to Beginner on Dynamic difficulty. So F me I guess. I mean SDS added that note since last week but couldn't actually fix it SMH.. so I played HOF difficulty most of the season for absolutely NO REASON. Bunch of geniuses work there apparently.

haha I tried that and still somehow failed.

I was down in the series 1-0. Was about to go down 2-0 (I was on All Star + and HOF) I rally back in the top of the 9th and take a one run lead.. Runner on first with one out. I get them to hit a easy ground ball to my shortstop. Of course he has trouble with it. The next person to bat hits a easy fly ball out to my LF. As I'm under the ball I more my stick slightly to adjust to the ball and I get stuck in some weird animation. Ball hits the ground and they my guy can't pick it up. They walk off.

So out of frustration I dropped down to beginner or whatever. Win game 3 easy. Game 4... not a run scored. Every ball I squared up on was a line drive and everything I got deep was just short.

This was my second time playing a season with the Mets. I didn't get any points the second half of my first season because my internet was having issues and dropped once.. It's almost like this game tries to screw you so you can't earn your points.

EDIT: I believe most teams have a thing were you get 5pts for doing 250 innings with players from that team. Just load your DD team with players from the team you need to earn points for. Do a game vs the CPU on rookie. Couple early runs and then breeze though it. Takes what 30 mins to finish a game

9 players for 9 innings is 81. So it take 3 full games + plus a couple extra innings to earn 5 pts. Maybe an hour and half of play time. Compared to 8-10 hours to do a full season on MTO.
