His career reminds me a lot of the career of Wes Montgomery (although Wes did get signed and had a very successful career for 9 years).
I do wonder how things might have been different if he was living in the youtube age, when getting exposer is a bit different than it used to be.
That being said, as a jazz guitarist myself, the mastery it takes to perform that music at a high level on guitar is almost always underappreciated. A dear friend of mine who's been on hundreds of albums, and started touring the world with the biggest names in jazz at age 17 is currently trying to pay the bills with facebook live streams and zoom lessons. This guy taught at the most prestigious conservatory in the world, did day time television, has done other TV work, video game soundtrack work, movie soundtrack work. Yet, he's now asking for tips on facebook. Music is going the wrong direction!

You were probably not around last year when the contact swings were generating the same exit velocity as normal swings, with the added benefit of swinging for contact (wider perfect windows and bigger pci).
That’s why using contact was an exploit until SDS patched it.0

If a button does something, it was meant to be used. Did you create the rules of The Show? I don't seem to recall ever seeing a stream that said, "we made this button for contact swing...you must never use it." Grow up bud.
