Idk if I can explain this correctly but want to see if anyone else is having this issue or I’m just flat out hallucinating.

I’m not very good at the game for starters…but it seems like there’s quite a few times where I’m flat dealing for 10-15 pitches, then randomly throw a pitch and when I’m dragging to the RS down to the release point, it doesn’t matter where i place the RS, it just goes straight down and usually ends up grooving the pitch down the middle about 1 out of every 20 pitches.

I’ve tried multiple different controllers and also haven’t had this happen in offline games so not sure if it’s a DD issue or what.

It’s called RNG and is designed to give a player an opportunity to hit if the game feels they haven’t gotten much success. Player input sometimes matter. The game has to keep crappy players from quitting which would cause them to lose revenue.

I disagree that pitchers should be hitting their spots perfect every pitch. Unless the pitcher is superhuman they don't do it in real life.... why do some people expect it in the game. It's the same thing if every perfect pci placement hit goes 450ft. It doesn't happen in real life, so if it happens in the game... it's not realistic. In real baseball pitchers miss their spots, rockets go for outs and bloops go for hits... that's all part of real baseball.

I guess what I’m trying to clarify if that it’s a control issue problem. I could move the RS sideways and it’s still going to trace straight down to the middle.
