That's cool, not every mode is for everyone. I never understood how people found it fun til I really tried it out in 20 when I finally have up on franchise getting updated. I have fun with it but can completely see how people would find it a drag

Because winning a competitive game against a quality opponent is as good a feeling as there is in gaming. Yes, You have to deal with alot of quitters & grievers but it’s worth it for the matchups with quality players.

I can only give you the reason I enjoy it. I like playing for something after each game I play. Stubs, xp, parallel stats, cards, moments though I hate the moments and whatever else I can get.
Franchise or online rated doesn't really get you much other than the game you just played.
Plus, I enjoy collecting cards
