93 Acuna. Sell Or Sit on it for a bit

Just beat my miniseason and pulled the 93 Acuna. Should I sell or sit on it? Second Most Expensive card on the market rn.

If you’re going to use the coins to make more coins then sell him. If there just going to sit around waiting for something just use him.
This idea that you should buy the expensive cards as soon as you have the coins is crazy, when you have 400,000 coins it’s a lot easier to make another 400,000 coins than when you have 40,000 left.
10x vs 1x. It’s not a debate.

Unless they flip the script and it’s a “pack sale” again and in which case he goes way down. SDS got clever with that last year, makes no difference to people who buy packs, but really gives nothing to investors or hoarders but a Black Friday. Be careful broski

There will be a flash sale before there's a stub sale. At the very worst they do both at the same time.
I always try to have the ls completed before the 1st flash sale so I'm positioned to buy everyones WS/BR rewards at a 75% discount

We’re on the same wavelength on this. Just have the AL East to go and then I’ll start going after the WS/ BR cards (besides Chipper since never sold that one).

Use him and work on completing the NL East set. I bought Acuna last night. He plays exactly like last year. Quick swing, ball just carries to the gap. His speed plays and he has a great arm. I have him in RF with Buxton still in center. Obviously LS Trout is probably better but Acuna rakes. The set gives you Hank who kills lefties, and if you can complete the division you get Utley. If you are not going to complete the set just use him until we get a stub sale. Those gatekeepers usually go up in price. If he peaks big time, sell, if not you still have an amazing card that is useful for the next two months.

This is what perplexes me about early season flash sales. In reality it should not impact WS/BR/Event rewards, but it does. People sell of those rewards to fund pack gambling, which makes it a great time to grab anything and everything at a discount to complete collections.
