I guess I really dont understand how PXP works to achiever program goals in 22 DD this year.

I understand you have to look at the card and it tells you what you need to complete to upgrade the PXP.

But it's really become a grind now especially for offline gamers. I don't really want to play some useless meaningless exhibition games. I have played conquest and mini seasons but it seems like it doesn't move that fast.

I've been stuck on the Billy Williams card for like forever. Also in the WSH City Uni's been stuck on 27 and I need 3 more for Rendon. Again, seems like whatever I do , the pxp accumulation moves so slowly I have to ask myself is it even worth doing.

I don't spend money so i can't do the exchanges at this point yet. And the exchanges are what, 2 or 3 points? I did all the moments.

But ya, not feeling it in 22. I liked the simplicity in 21 and straight forward approach in achieving goals to get a card or program done.

I found the quickest way through those gold legend cards is to play exhibition vs Baltimore of course you need to hit bombs they get you the most XP and the pitcher's get the most XP so their easier to finish off ......focus on K's.

ya thanks man. But that's my point. I feel no desire to waste my time mashing up on the CPU. And the games feel meaningless too.

At least last year they gave you 'Beat the CPU X Team on All Star or Higher' and the like. At least that was challenging in the early months of 21 when you didnt have a stacked team and it was a goal to achieve the card or program.

Their intent here is to actually have the players use the cards they grind for. Attributing a PXP value for a mission requires you to use that card until you achieve the stats.

If you play a conquest game on rookie and only get 1 AB with a mission player, and only fly out; you’re only getting 10 points on the mission. So certainly see how it could grind if you’re not successful regularly with them.

As noted, take them into a full 9 inning game, have some success and they mission will complete faster.

I ended up taking almost a full roster of those guys and played a few 9 inning games. Able to focus on paralleling a pitcher or two and then accrue my position player stats.

I've noticed that just having 3-5 pitchers for whatever team you're doing will rapdily speed up the process, When I was doing the Nationals I just had Strasburg and a couple throwaway bullpen arms every conquest game

I knocked them out while playing conquest.

In the past we use to enjoy doing missions like "get X amount of hits, or get X amount of extra base hit ect. Now with the Parallel XP its all included. You dont have to worry about what hits you are getting it all counts as something.

Do that 3 game Conquest where you get 5 repeatable packs Soo Atleast you get something for the grind.

You don't have to look at the cards it's the same for all pitchers and all hitters. Do stuff, get xp. And it's also the same as last year but instead of 5 extra base hits with this guy and 3 home runs with that guy you just get the xp. So in my opinion it's a lot cleaner and easier.

You should absolutely be playing conquest and mini seasons because you'll be working towards other rewards while you gain xp. If that's too slow for you then you're more than welcome to take it online.

This. I'm doing the map to make up for some lost time. You get progress and five packs per go around for not a lot of effort.
