Not MTO related but I'm close to getting Jazz Chisholm from the Marlins. That will be my 6 teams completed or getting over 80% done (Chicago NL, NY AL, Miami, St Louis, LA AL and Cleveland)
I just finished my 6th team to 100% today, too. I swept the Twins in my M2O with the Brewers. While I'm probably not going to use Zack Brown unless I need innings for the Brewers, the M2O itself was a lot of fun.
I'm thinking I'm going to do a Cubs one next (it's going to feel kind of weird as a White Sox fan) as I have a lot of ideas of who I want to get with them. I'm going to try and upgrade their 2B position with Whit Merrifield (he'd look good in a Cubs uniform), plus he can play anywhere and would fit in nicely the teams positional flexibility with Bryant, Schwarber, Baez, Ian Happ, and Nico Hoerner.
I'm also going to try to get a strong left-handed reliever and a bonafide ace. For the lefty reliever, I'm going to target Andrew Miller, Sean Doolittle, Will Smith, Jose Alvarado, or Brad Hand. As for the starter, I'm going to go after Jack Flaherty, Charlie Morton, Blake Snell, Justin Verlander, Luis Castillo, or may end up going for a SP2 like Eduardo Rodriguez, Sonny Gray, Matthew Boyd, or Carlos Carrasco.
I'm very excited to use Chisholm. Looks like he could be my new shortstop or split time with Larkin.
If you do the Cubs you should try to target Ken Giles. He solidified the bullpen for my run. I managed to get Gleybor Torres and he also really helped.
I should've probably mentioned that I did indeed start one. We're off to a great start too; starting the season 27-10.
Yah they flew out of the gate for me I think they had 50 wins or so by the all star break. I know I got every reward possible.

Yeah, I'm smashing it with them now. We just swung a deal for Jeff McNeill from the Mets and I'm feeling confident at each spot in my lineup now.

Started one with the Royals and initially I was looking to target SP, RP, and a CF to move Merrifield back to 2nd. But after a few games i was rolling with the trio of Barlow, Hill, and Rosenthal at the back of the bullpen so I instead targeted SP, CF, and 1B. And then after finishing off a perfect game with #5 starter Jorge Lopez I realized i actually didnt mind the starters either, so i targeted 3B instead of SP because Franco was getting on my nerves. First trade offer i was offered Bradley Zimmer, Margot, and another minor leaguer and i passed on them. Then the real offers came in.
Kris Bryant- Got him for 1B Nick Pratto(21 yo, 64 ovr, A pot), CF Kyle Isbel( 22 yo, 72 ovr, A pot.) and a low level prospect
Christian Yelich- I wasnt even targeting him and in the same offer i was also offered Avisail Garcia so im assuming the Brewers were blowing it up. but i got him for SS Bobby Witt Jr( 19 yo, 71 ovr., A pot.) CF Michael Gigliotti( 23 yo, 70 ovr, A pot.) and another low level prospect
Johnathan Schoop- Got him for Franco and a low level prospect
Ketel Marte- Got him for Hunter Dozier, Brady Singer, and a low level prospect. I was also offered Realmuto at this time to but i was fine with Perez.
I ended up with a lot of good bats and now i have guys playing out of positon but the offense will more than make up for any defensive problems, got a lineup now that looks like this
CF Marte
2B Merrifield
1B Bryant
RF Yelich
DH Soler
3B Schoop
C Perez
SS Mondesi
LF GordonI know the CPU will more than likely change this on me lol but im very excited to finish the 2nd half of the season and hit the playoffs with this team

Started a Cleveland Indians M2O with the rumors going around that their Stage 3 Team Affinity is going to be Jim Thome, I better have them at 100% ready to go for Tuesday and this one has been a lot of fun! My first two games of the season went to extra innings against the Tigers and in both I hit a really derpy-looking blooper for the game-winning run.
Their roster had a lot more holes and weaknesses than I was expecting but luckily the role-players on this team play really well in-game. Guys like Delino Deshields, Cesar Hernandez, Greg Allen, Franmil Reyes, and Roberto Perez hit much better than their ratings say they should. Plus, their back-end starters and relievers play way above their ratings, too; Dominic Leone, Zach Plesac, Aaron Civale, Phil Maton, and Adam Cimber are so much better than I thought they would be. I even finished off a no-hitter with Zach Plesac.
With most of the role-players exceeding expectations, it's allowed me to get creative with the trades and moves I've made. So far, we're sitting at 73-21 in mid-July and we've already acquired:
-
Liam Hendriks, (CP) Oakland A's
This was the first move we made in late-April and it has proven to be just what we needed. Initially, I was going to target another left-handed reliever as our only lefty aside from our closer Brad Hand was veteran Oliver Perez but instead of acquiring another lefty, landing Hendriks -- a dominant righty -- has freed up Brad Hand to be used in more of a multi-inning left-handed batter-specialist role. This trade also allowed us to not have to worry about the stamina of our closer since we have two high-end relievers with extensive closing experience with Hendriks and Hand. To get Hendriks, we only had to send Oakland OF prospect Bradley Zimmer. -
Whit Merrifield, (2B/OF) Kansas City Royals
I cannot overstate the impact this trade has had. Not only has Merrifield solved our issue of finding a consistent lead-off hitter who fits the role, but his versatility and ability to play solid defense almost anywhere has allowed us to have so much flexibility late in games and being able to get guys like Jordan Luplow (against LHP) and Delino Deshields (as a pinch-runner) in games where the situation calls for their skill-sets. Not to mention we didn't have to give up much to get him, sending only prospect Bobby Bradley (1B), Tyler Naquin (who was in AAA all year to that point), and something called Enrique Villanueva; a 29 year-old minor-leaguer who had "F Potential." -
Robbie Ray, (SP) Arizona Diamondbacks
Our most recent trade was for Robbie Ray, who gives us our only left-handed option in our starting rotation. This trade allows us to play the hot hand for our 5th starter with Aaron Civale and Zach Plesac. Plus, it gives us a veteran we can count on come playoff-time in October. In Ray's first start with us on the road against the Minnesota Twins, he pitched a complete game shutout. Giving up only 1 hit (a bunt single by Byron Buxton on the first pitch of the game) and struck out 19 batters. Needless to say, we like what we've seen so far.

Cleveland Indians M2O
Right now, as we approach the trade deadline, we're swinging for the fences to try to patch up our other possible weaknesse and somehow we were able to acquire J.T. Realmuto!
The only problem with this move is a good problem to have: we now have Roberto Perez as our backup catcher with the expectation (on his 'Morale' tab/page) that he should not only be a starter but a "star," in his own opinion. I have about a week before the deadline now, and I have put him on the block. I'd like to keep him around but if the right deal comes along -- we won't hesitate to pull the trigger on it.
I'll update this post after the Trade Deadline...

I started an Astros MTO to pick up that Jeff Bagwell FOTF card. Mid-April I was offered Ronald Acuna Jr. for Kyle Tucker, Forest Whitley, and Korey Lee so I made that trade quick. Then, about the beginning of July, I was offered Wilson Contreras for a SS prospect and Rogelio Armenteros and I accepted that. Then trade deadline day came and I was offered Chris Sale for Josh James and two nobodies. I took no doubt, however, I didn't realize Sale wouldn't be brought up to the ML club after the trade was made.

Finished my Cleveland Indians M2O with a roster that was insane!
Francisco Lindor had a 12.9 WAR season with 49 HRs and 137 RBI and won MVP, while Carlos Carrasco went nuts and pitched to a 23-2 record with a 2.49 ERA and over 250 strikeouts!
1 - Whit Merrifield (2B/OF)
2 - Francisco Lindor (SS)
3 - Carlos Santana (1B)
4 - Jose Ramirez (3B)
5 - Franmil Reyes (DH)
6 - J.T. Realmuto / Roberto Perez (C)
7 - Cesar Hernandez (2B)
8 - Domingo Santana / Jordan Luplow (OF)
9 - Oscar Mercado (OF)SP1 - Shane Bieber
SP2 - Mike Clevinger
SP3 - Carlos Carrasco
SP4 - Robbie Ray
SP5 - Aaron Civale / Zach PlesacRP1: Liam Hendriks
RP2: Andrew Miller
RP3: Brad Hand
RP4: Nick Wittgren
RP5: Oliver Perez
RP6: Dominic Leone
RP7: Adam Cimber -
In a Mets run i just did I traded for Villar, Moustakas, Freeman and Salvador Perez all for prospects
-
I was the Nationals and got Trey Mancini lol
-
Using the Astros was just dumb. Got Realmuto, Yeli, Bryce, and Dickerson sits the bench... Brantley to the bench and Yordan to DH.
-
with the Angels I got Freeman from the Braves, Peralta from Diamondbacks, Castillo from Reds and Betances from Mets
-

Interesting.
Did you use Freddie Freeman at 3B? I've never been able to land Freeman in any of my M2O runs yet despite the fact that I've targeted him a few times.
-
Nearly in the playoffs in my Blue Jays run and despite my efforts to land some big names, I was only able to get:
- J.T. Realmuto
- Zack Britton
- Kyle Seager (he has been awful)
- Joc Pederson (he has been ridiculously good)
- Trevor Story
I'm trying to get me a FOTF Tom Henke for my pen. I'm thinking my next team might be the Padres or Braves.
-
Jorge Soler is my favorite to land. Just finished up White Sox, in the playoffs 9 HRs
-
I used Cubs and was offered Yelich for Kris Bryant, literally 3 days later I was offered Kris Bryant back for scraps. I also got Marcus Semien and DD Gregorias...Did a Braves march and got Marcus Semien, Kyle Schwarber and Liam Hendriks....I never "targeted" any of those players so it seems random.....lost the series with the cubs vs Tampa but as Braves Marcus simien hit a walk off homer in game 6 vs Houston to win it all so that was cool.
-
Just did a M2O with the Marlins, basically to fast track me to getting the Brian Anderson FOTF card.
Ended up acquiring McCutchen, Franmil Reyes, Kluber and JT Realmuto
Edit: Also got Rich Hill from the Twins for personal reasons, not realizing they wouldn’t put him on the ML roster because of his “injury”
-
in my Cardinals MTO i got Jorge Soler adn Yordan alveraz for the outfield spots and then got Bauer and i won like 115 games and then the world series easily
-
With the Jay's I got
Christian Vasquez
Matt Barnes
In two separate deals
And Chirnois .My needs that I was looking for was RP and OF....
Was offered Villar but was already set with Bichette, Biggio and Gurriel in the infield.
Stil finished the season with a record season. Haven't started the playoffs yet.
-
I'm currently doing a Dodgers M2O to get another Hershiser to sell off since I'm a little low on Stubs after buying FS Luis Robert and SS Chris Sale off the market (Thank god for my investments paying off!)
At the beginning of this run, I felt a little overwhelmed by how good their roster is to begin with but once I got familiar with their players, I realized there are still quite a few areas where I could upgrade; mainly at catcher and the bullpen but I also felt it necessary to get another power bat in the infield and with Turner and Muncy's flexibility, it allowed me to think a bit outside the box.
I ended up acquiring these players before the Trade Deadline:
-
Josh Hader (They badly needed a good lefty out of the pen. I was pleasantly surprised when I was offered him so early in my run.)
-
Freddie Freeman (He has been excellent playing 1B with Muncy moving to 2B.)
-
Drew Pomeranz (I wanted to get a left-handed long-reliever and Pomeranz was a great choice.)
-
Brandon Woodruff (I wanted a better SP3 as I wasn't liking how David Price felt and Julio Urias was struggling)
-
J.T. Realmuto (I pulled this off on the last day before the deadline. We sent David Price and two B-grade prospects.)
Heading into the playoffs as the #1 seed in the National League, our playoff roster is:
STARTING ROTATION
SP1 - Walker Buehler
SP2 - Clayton Kershaw
SP3 - Brandon Woodruff
SP4 - Julio Urias
SP5 - Alex Wood (He'll be used in long-relief)BULLPEN
LR - Ross Stripling
