Does the PSN account not count as an MLB the Show Account?

I’m trying to link to the switch and absolutely nothing is working. I’m signed in, obviously as I’m posting, but I can not link anything.

Has anyone else had this issue? Do I still have to create a MLB the Show account as well?

I’m signed up for Scouting Report and all of that stuff already. So it seems rather odd.

Yes... If you are a subscriber to PSN then you also have the show. Sounds like you are having a login issue, not a server issue.

MLB The Show Account is the "uber" account that links everything together, either it be for Cross Progression between platforms or your Twitch account for Twitch Drops. As well as the Scouting Report.

Step 1: Create an MLB The Show Account here, https://account.theshow.com/mlbts_account/new
Step 2: Link your platforms to your new MLB The Show Account. Make sure you select the correct account that you want all your connected platform to use as the primary account.

If linked correctly you can move between platforms.

If you don't plan on using cross progression or not interested in Twitch Drops, you aren't required to create an MLB The Show account.

I’m a truly lost. I reset my PSN password as it wasn’t working on this site. New password still doesn’t work.

The two things asked for on The Show when resetting the password is username and email. I’ve entered both, countless times, and it won’t accept them.

I’ve submitted a ticket in the meantime, but I am definitely lost.

So my issue is that I am only signed in for PSN, not the Show?

I got them to connect but now I have missing stubs, [censored] it ‍️
