idk if it’s just my bad luck but half of my perfect perfect hits and just hard hit balls are like outs.

If anything (for all star anyway) you can absolutely outplay your opponent only for them to get hits off balls in the dirt. Pretty laughable when they said your pci gets smaller swinging out the zone when that clearly isn’t the case(on all star anyway)

According to my feedback….non PCI hits and homer’s are still very much alive. They tried to calm the complaints by hiding opponent feedback.

RNG is a casuals best friend in this game. Kinda makes sense though that casuals are the majority of the player base. Unfortunate for those of us who want legit gameplay.

The best place for legit gameplay is a good quality league.

    It happens in real baseball

Once again, in real MLB hitter bat over .600 on all line drives and over .700 on balls hit over 100mph those “real baseball” statistics are definitely not even remotely reflected in SDS hitting engine.

In the same game last night, two double plays on hot shots for first. One was the idiotic catch and quick tag out of my runner and then one was a catch on first base before my guy could dive back in. This game is typical dog p00p.

I definitely think something is off about hitting this year. I'm getting more flyouts and lineouts this year compared to last year, on pitches that are in the middle of the zone and I have good timing on. It's frustrating.

For me, the update on Sunday changed hitting. Before Sunday, I seemed to have a good mix of scores and types of hits. The game was truly fun to play.

Since the Sunday update, lots of line outs and pop ups, warning track fly outs. Low scoring (or better yet), late inning scoring games. Definitely not fun nor relaxing as before.

Actually... In 2021 players had an AVG of .584 on balls with an exit velo of 100+. Edit: .593 in 2020.

Also, only 17% of all batted ball events with an exit velo over 100 mph were hit for homeruns. Edit: With the highest percentage of them coming from balls hit over 108 mph.

I was specifically speaking about line drives, your stats include ground balls:

Just unfortunate timing and placement of the fielder. Can be a perfect roper right down the 3rd baseline, but if the #rd baseman's standing there, in a certain spot, just unfortunate. Some will go in our favor, most won't.
