I'm currently playing Franchise mode on Hall of Fame and MTO on Dynamic (currently on Legend) and I am crushing the ball against the CPU. It may or may not be because I'm finally getting good at the game after 6 years of playing it, but I still suck online so I highly doubt that's the case. Does anyone else feel this way?
Sliders are your friend.
Dude, if you're playing Franchise just use Spring Training to tweak Sliders, go on Operations Sports, use one of the Slider Sets there that people have tested and use that as a base and tweak as you play Spring Training and by the time the Regular Season starts you have a Slider set for your play style to allow realistic game play.
Have you tried legend hitting and legend pitching ? I’m playing a franchise in 2019 and that’s my setting and it’s a hella good challenge...

You have to keep in mind that the average player for this game are basically casuals that play mostly DD and collect cards and aren't prepared to play realistic baseball. So asking them to play Legend anything will make most of them cry and stop playing because instant gratification won't be there.
I played Dd offline and the ball just died off the bat now.

Lol ... It’s a shame the game leans towards all the diamond stuff.... I’m totally cool with classic players, it’s fun, but franchise is what baseball is all about ! Stacking some team to play an online all star game just isn’t my cup of tea ...

Oh wow, you're a man for playing Franchise, that's good and you have common sense. I wouldn't be surprised if MLB The Show 25 has a Minecraft mode where they can create a stadium with blocks so these kids can add it to their DD things.
