Mini Seasons: An Unhandled Server Exception occured

I got into the Championship game, but it froze in the 2nd innings when I was winning. Had to restart MLB the Show, and when I went back it said my season was over, so I must gotten the loss and didn't get the Championship rewards .

I was just coming here to report the same bug reached championship and now server exception 3 days in a row morning noon and night

Just had the same thing happen to me. Won the 5th game in the semi finals vs an all collection team only to get server error trying to get back in to play the championship round. This is my second mini season but the first one worked fine except 1 game that I got a loss because the servers crashed.

So even if I restart the season, I will still see the same error message when I make it to the finals? This mode is really only rewarding if you can earn that final reward for winning the championship. Otherwise it is a waste of time. Please fix this SDS, Madden just dropped new content today.

I've gotten multiple "unhandled server exceptions" today for the first time. (Playing on XB1.) Interestingly, I didn't get one until after the server maintenance earlier this morning. I was somehow able to fix the problem once by completely re-starting the game. Of course, after I made a comeback and won my semi-final Mini Season series to make it to the finals for the first time, I get another unhandled server exception that I can't fix.
I didn't play last year's game very much, were the server problems this bad last year too???

What would be nice is all those at the championship point, when fixed get the champ rewards. I dunno boys. Just feels right to me

Yes we should get champ rewards …. Been stuck in the championship bracket for 4 days

Had this for 2 days now, never had trouble before. Want that 89 Longoria, anyone heard a peep from SDS?

Supposedly some bug fixes coming tonight in the update, but nothing specific about this issue. Im bracing that nothing is done about this.

It could be somewhat tied in to this item or this item may have been the cause.
Fixed an issue that would prevent or cause a delay for users trying to enter games.
That said, I don't think they'll be able to make those who are stuck magically work again. I hope I am wrong but my guess is that once the error happens it's over.

I don't think we'll ever get confirmation of this, but I expect that @Dolenz_PSN is right. Those of us who got the exception will have to re-start Mini Season just to see if this patch fixes things and prevents us from getting the exception again.

different issue but i had 5 wins count as losses last night, finally just gave up. Something needs to be done about this.

Good thing I’m not the only one with this unhandled server exception when I’m on the last few games of the postseason. Actually it’s not a good thing

I've been holding off but wanting to try this mode since it was announced. Don't know if I have the courage to start a run until they confirm it's fixed/clarify the patch notes. Guess I'll wait for a few suckers to go first then.

Let me know if anyone restarts and if it works …. The mini season is too much of a grind to restart for me. If it works I’ll restart though …. This sucks. They need to give us the Evan Longoria card for this BS

Theres gotta be someone we can contact on here. Its too many people with the exact same problem. Im not sure enough on who to tag.
They replied to my ticket with “we are aware of the issue. We can’t assist you further at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
I then asked if I need to reset to get the mode to work again or wait it out. And they copy pasted the same reply with slightly more customer service friendly wording.
My guess is we will have to reset the season and play another 30 games if you want the Longoria and other rewards.
Update: I reset my season a little over a week ago and have been knocking it out couple games a night. Tonight I quit out my remaining regular season games, swept the semifinals and did not receive the unhandled server exception again. Finally swept the finals and got Longoria, the packs and stubs.
Only thing I did differently was I reset the app before my game to sweep the semifinals.
